Lex, also known by her stage name LEXAPEEL, is a LA native, based in Oakland whose sound has moved crowds from The Bay area to Atlanta to New York, London, Tokyo, and beyond. With over a decade behind the decks - and the last 5 years cementing her as a crowds favorite - LEXAPEEL is known for transforming any setting into an unforgettable dance floor.
Her love for music is the driving force behind her curation of eclectic vibes in every city she visits. Her distinct sonic collection of Hip-Hop, RnB, Baile Funk, Jersey Club, Afro Beats, House, and other global sounds alongside her blending and scratching techniques allow her the rare ability to read a crowd and elevate its energy. LEXAPEEL has shared stages with Kehlani, DJ Pee Wee (Anderson Paak), Durand Bernarr, Zack Fox, and DJ Miss Milan to name a few.
She also has been selected to curate vibes for brands such as Nike, Beats by Dre, Art Basel, and Live Nation just to name a few.
in 2024, she founded @placesandspacesfm - a roaming sonic experience born during a period of personal healing. What began as an intimate gathering has grown into a traveling community celebration, bringing people together in unexpected spaces for music, listening, and creative exchange.
